Honeybee linocut print
This honeybee was hand carved from a linoleum block and hand printed with black ink on 8”x10” watercolor paper. Because each print is pulled individually by hand, no two are exactly alike.
Penny Farthing
16”x12” acrylic on canvas
An adventurous giraffe sporting aviator goggles and scarf, riding an old-fashioned high-wheeler bicycle through the countryside. A series of glazing and staining techniques gives the painting the distressed, vignette look of a vintage photograph.

Flying Pig
16”x12” acrylic on canvas
This little piggy dreamed of leaving the farm and heading to the city. Gives new meaning to the phrase, “when pigs fly.”

New! Laughing Buddha
12”x16” acrylic on canvas
The laughing Buddha symbolizes health, happiness, prosperity and longevity. Although rubbing a Buddha belly is said to bring good luck, you should probably refrain from rubbing smudgy fingers on your nice new wall art.

Ganesh Juggling Oranges
16”x20” acrylic on canvas
This whimsical piece is one of my personal favorites. The design was inspired in part by vintage orange crate labels, and features the playful Hindu elephant god of wisdom and creativity, bringer of luck, remover of obstacles and patron of arts and sciences.

Portrait of a Gnome
16”x20” acrylic on canvas
For this piece I wanted to test the boundaries between kitsch and fine art and treat a completely un-serious subject in a serious way. So, with a small nod to Amélie, I captured this mischievous garden gnome standing against a damask wallpaper background, rendered in the dramatic chiaroscuro of Baroque art.
